Olagoke Samson AGBAKOSI

Olagoke Agbakosi has over three decades of work experience spanning professional accounting/audit practice, taxation & tax management services, banking and financial services, manufacturing, global multi-nationals, fast moving consumer goods and information & communication technology services mostly in the organized private sector and also in public enterprise. He is a strategic thinker with strong communication and interpersonal skills and a proven ability to achieve results with limited resources through effective planning and execution.

Olagoke has an impressive exposure to global best practices and standards, acquired from some of the most respected companies internationally. He has very strong competencies in financial and general management, coaching, mentoring and development of human resources using relevant time tested approaches. He is also adept at creating a conducive work environment for colleagues and associates thus guaranteeing the achievement of optimum results and set targets.

`Goke Agbakosi graduated with a B.Sc. (Hons) in Accounting from Ogun State University (now Olabisi Onabanjo University) Ago-Iwoye in 1987 and a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Durham Business School, University of Durham, England, UK in 2002. An alumnus of Lagos Business School, Goke is also a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and an Associate of the Nigerian Institute of Management and the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria. He is also an alumnus of the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies having successfully participated in the Senior Executive Course 38 in 2016. He has had the privilege of attending several short developmental courses in many respected business schools and institutions internationally including in America, Asia and Europe.

He is the initiator/founder of the ELVER Foundation which was set up to encourage and mentor people (especially the young ones) while exposing them to the imperatives of sound education, values and entrepreneurial mindset to achieving good success.
